The Research and Development Office School of Business conducted assessment on the google scholar citations for the entire faculty and ranked them according to citations in the google scholar for 2020.The final tally was done on 26th November 2020.
Second year Bachelor of Commerce student, Kitoe Isaac Otieno has won the Chinese Ambassador’s Scholarship for academic year 2020.
Kitoe is among 20 lucky winners across the university with others drawn from different schools and faculties.
University of Nairobi is offering 137 masters scholarships for the 2020/2021 academic year. The
applications are open only to applicants for the September 2020 intake.
General guidelines to applicants
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria among other specific criteria by their respective
units.
1) Applicants should have completed and graduated with an undergraduate degree from the University
of Nairobi in the academic year 2018/2019 (except for School of Medicine, School of Dental

Prof. Stephen Kiama Gitahi has officially been installed as the 8th Vice Chancellor of the great University of Nairobi.
In a colorful function held at the Taifa Hall in main campus and steamed online to a global audience, Prof. Kiama took oath office with a clear vision of what lay ahead in terms of spearheading the university to global academic and research excellence.
