Second Year Student Wins Chinese Ambassador’s Scholarship

Second year Bachelor of Commerce student, Kitoe Isaac Otieno has won the Chinese Ambassador’s Scholarship for academic year 2020.

Kitoe is among 20 lucky winners across the university with others drawn from different schools and faculties.

The Chinese Ambassador’s scholarship programme was started in 2013, with the aim of supporting needy students in institutions of higher learning.

Over 100 Students from the University of Nairobi have so far benefited from this programme since 2013. The Scholarship targets only undergraduate students under the Government Sponsored (Module 1) category.
