The Dean School of Business Prof Jackson Maalu had a meeting with the School of Business non-teaching staff.
The issues discussed were:-
1.Customer Care-Service to students at our best
2.Teamwork- support one another
3.Integrity -Be honest in whatever you are doing
4.Welfare of the staff
This was a successful meeting and staff were highly motivated
A 3 day workshop to bring an understanding on distributed ledgers & block chain technologies and how it can transform current businesses into fully automated digital businesses.
There was Dean's handing over at the School of Business Lower Kabete Campus.This follows a successful election done on 7th February 2020.Prof Jackson Maalu was Elected unopposed.Outgoing Dean Prof James Njihia congratulated Prof Maalu on his election as the Dean School of Business.
Prof Maalu assured the school management that he will serve will humility and dedication to deliver the mandate of the school and the University at large.

The Greenhorn Mentorship Program will be holding an event starting from Monday, 10th February to Thursday, 13th February 2020.
This event is ‘THE GREENHORN MENTORSHIP WEEK’.
The objective of this event will be to sensitize the student community in our campus on the Greenhorn Mentorship Program’s membership and activities. We will also be delighted to be officially welcoming the new first years.
On 21st January 2020, the Greenhorn Mentorship Program hosted a delegation of marketing executives from Unilever and their partner agency Scanad Africa.
First year 2019/2020 Bachelor of Commerce students joined on 20th January 2020.There were several activities planned during the week. One such activity was the orientation to this new environment. The School of Business held the orientation on 22nd January 2020 at Lower Kabete Campus.This orientation was graced by Prof Enos Njeru who is the Principal College of humanity and social sciences

The School of Business commemorated a farewell luncheon for Prof. Erasmus Kaijage who is exiting out of the service as the professor of Finance. Prof. Kaijage has successfully served at the University of Nairobi for Nine Years, before he served as the Dean of School of Business Dar es salaam University 2000 to 2006. He was earlier the Head of the Department of Finance and also Associate Dean Academic for several years in the same Faculty.
